Rashmi Naik Nimbalkar
Rashmi's practice is rooted in unlearning, a conscious emptying of accumulated ideas and conditioned perceptions. Working primarily in soft pastels on cotton paper, she allows forms to emerge intuitively rather than constructing them, treating each work as a lived moment rather than a resolved statement. Her images move through questions of wholeness and separation, chaos and order, and the stillness within perception, informed by the teachings of J. Krishnamurti. The work invites a return to simplicity and inner grounding. Nimbalkar holds a B.F.A. in Applied Art from Sir J. J. School of Art, where she is currently completing her M.F.A. in Contemporary Art Practices.
